The act of crossing over is, in itself, not that complex. When the physical body in which one lives dies, the soul, which cannot stay in a dead body, leaves and is escorted by that person's angel to the light, and is crossed over to the other side. This is the point at which problems may occur in the process. The soul is still the person it was before death occurred, and still has free will, and in some cases {for whatever reason} it may choose to stay, or having been so traumatized from having just been killed, may be in a state of shock or disorientation to the point that it will not go with its angel, and becomes earth bound. There are four different states in which a soul may be earth bound if this has occurred.

The traumatic shock syndrome is the most common, being caused by a very quick and unexpected death such as an accident, murder, earthquake, etc. In this situation, the spirit may or may not be aware that it is now a spirit, and is perplexed as to why it cannot be seen or heard, having no idea how to get crossed over, or even that it should be crossing over. I have had hundreds of spirits come for crossing over that are completely unaware that their physical bodies are now dead and that they are now spirits. 

The next most common is a state in which the spirit is aware that it is now a spirit, but is simply lost and cannot find the light or someone to guide them to the light and  be crossed over.

The third state is that which we call ghosts and poltergeist. These spirits have chosen to stay on this side for some personal reason. Searching for a loved one, seeking revenge, or just because it's the place in which they feel safe. There are many reasons for them to opt to remain on this side, and until someone confronts them and asks why he or she has chosen to remain on this side, we can only speculate as to their reason for staying. The reason for there being a distinct difference between a ghost and a poltergeist, is that poltergeists are mentally unbalanced. This is the reason for their odd and sometimes violent behavior.

The fourth situation, as to still being on this side, is undoubtedly the most unnerving. The act of being crossed over must be accomplished by having one's angel take them over. There is one act that a person can perpetrate as a living person that can cause his angel to be taken away . THAT ACT IS MURDER. One may also lose his or her Angel by simply being a really bad person at heart. When a person commits the act of murder, his angel is immediately repoed by God. Not having an angel, even if the soul could find its way to the light, it cannot be crossed over. Spirits in this situation are destined to stay on this side until the time of judgement, unless they can find there way to me and ask me to intervene on their behalf.  When one of these spirits finds its  way to me, and after I ascertain that it has no angel, I ask an Arch Angel to come down and evaluate the information I have gathered from the soul requesting passage to the other side. It is he that decides if this soul is to be allowed to cross over, if allowed to do so, the soul in question must stand before God for judgment. Why this decision was made, or what the extenuating circumstances may have been to deny these particular souls entrance to the other side, I am not privy to. I have found that a soul that has ordered the murder of someone has very seldom been allowed to cross over and there seems to be minimum amount of time that is required before God will even consider allowing a soul that has committed murder to cross over. From all indications, that is somewhere around 100 years and the soul must ask God for absolution. 

You may ask "why is it that these souls have to come to this guy." To tell the truth, I don't know. All I know is that  my doing this is a directive from God, and I am told that I am the only one given this responsibility. I have souls that come  from all over the world, speaking every language on the planet, and they understand  what I say.  SO!!! If you're thinking of killing your EX to get out of the alimony payments, I'd give that a lot of thought.
